How the service works
A clear scope for a controlled villa move
Good packing protects belongings and organizes the move at the same time. Our villa packing service is planned around room type, item weight, fragility and opening priority. Customers can choose complete packing, support for selected rooms or unpacking assistance at the destination. The accepted quotation states the level of service and the materials included.
Choose the level of help that fits the household
Some households want the moving team to pack almost everything, while others prefer help only with the kitchen, décor, books or fragile rooms. A partial service can be useful when the family has already packed clothing and personal items but wants professional materials for breakables. We define which rooms and item groups are included so there is no confusion on packing day. Items that are not moving should be removed or clearly marked before the team starts.
Match cartons and wrapping to the contents
Heavy books belong in smaller boxes; light linens can use larger cartons. Plates are wrapped and packed with appropriate support, while stemware and delicate ornaments require careful separation. Wardrobe cartons may help reduce folding where they are suitable for the move. Electronics should be disconnected, backed up and prepared according to manufacturer guidance. The original packaging can be useful when it remains in good condition and includes the correct internal supports.
Create labels that still make sense in the new villa
A useful label identifies the destination room and gives a broad content description without exposing private details. When the new layout differs from the old villa, we agree destination names before labeling begins. A small number of priority boxes can be marked for early opening, such as bedding, basic kitchen items and children’s essentials. Overusing priority marks makes them meaningless, so the first-day selection should remain deliberate.
Keep restricted and personal items outside the packing flow
Passports, legal documents, cash, jewellery, medicines, keys and personal devices should stay with the customer. Movers should also be informed about liquids, aerosols, fuels, chemicals, plants, food and other items that may be unsuitable for ordinary transport or storage. The customer is responsible for identifying contents accurately. Separating these items early protects the household from searching through sealed cartons later.
Understand what unpacking means
Unpacking can range from opening selected cartons and placing items on safe surfaces to a broader room-by-room service. It does not automatically include detailed cabinet styling, appliance installation, wall mounting, electrical work or disposal of the customer’s unwanted belongings. We agree the practical finish point before the move. When material collection is included, flattened boxes and used wrapping are gathered at the agreed stage without removing items the customer wishes to retain.
